Footprints on the Sands of Time aren’t Made by Sitting Down…

Dreams - those magical fragments of imagination that drift into our minds in moments of quiet - are free. They cost nothing to see, nothing to desire, and nothing to declare. But the price of turning those dreams into reality? That’s paid in sweat, sacrifice, and sleepless nights.

As Swami Vivekananda said, “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached.” Dreams, by themselves, are like seeds scattered by the wind - only when watered with hard work and nourished with persistence do they grow into trees that bear fruit.

Every Dream Has Its Cost:

Every young aspirant, every budding artist, every struggling entrepreneur dreams of success. But between a dream and its realization lies a long, winding road called ‘hustle’ - paved with failures, self-doubt, discipline, and patience.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam once said, “Dream is not that which you see while sleeping; it is something that does not let you sleep.” Indeed, true dreams are restless. They disturb your comfort. They demand your dedication.

While a dream can be sparked in an instant, the hustle is a lifelong fire that must be kept burning - even when the world turns cold and discouraging.

The Myth of Overnight Success:

We live in an age of instant gratification - instant fame, instant food, instant approval. But greatness does not work on Wi-Fi speed. Success is not a sprint; it’s a marathon.

As the great Indian poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan wrote,

“Lahar se dar kar nauka paar nahin hoti,

Koshish karne walon ki kabhi haar nahin hoti.”

(“The boat never crosses by fearing the waves;

Those who strive never fail.”)

The world sees the medals, not the blisters; the applause, not the effort. Every so-called “overnight success” is backed by years of unseen grind - the quiet mornings, the late nights, the thousand rejections that build resilience.

The Hustle is the Real Education:

There are lessons no classroom can teach - lessons only the hustle can.

It teaches humility when failure knocks.

It teaches gratitude when success finally comes.

And it teaches endurance when nothing seems to move.

Rabindranath Tagore once wrote, “You can’t cross the sea merely by standing and staring at the water.”

The message is timeless - dreaming is not enough. The world rewards those who act, who persist, who dare to get their hands dirty in the soil of struggle.

From Vision to Victory:

Think of Mahatma Gandhi walking miles with salt in his hand, not just to defy an empire but to prove that purpose outshines power. Think of Sardar Patel uniting a fragmented nation through sheer will. Think of young sportspersons from small villages who rise to global fame, armed not with privilege but perseverance.

Each story whispers the same truth:

“The dream is free, but the hustle is sold separately.”

Your dream might be to clear the Civil Services Exam, to open a clinic, to write a book, or to start a movement. Whatever it is - remember that vision without effort is like a lamp without oil.

The Bridge Between Dream and Destiny:

There’s a maxim that says, “If you want the rainbow, you must tolerate the rain.”

The hustle is that rain - it soaks, it tests, it purifies.

When you wake up earlier than others, when you work while others rest, when you keep faith after repeated failures - that’s the price you pay for your dream.

As Rumi once said, “What you seek is seeking you.”

But it won’t find you unless you’re moving.

In the End…

Success isn’t an event; it’s a journey. The dream gives direction - the hustle gives wings. And when both walk together, miracles happen.

So dream boldly, but don’t stop there. Lace your dreams with discipline, fuel them with passion, and guard them with consistency. Because while dreams are free to imagine, the hustle - the true currency of achievement - is always paid in full.

Where Lies True Happiness…!?!

THE REAL HAPPINESS OF LIFE (A Journey into Real Happiness and Peace) :By Dr Sunil S Rana  If Even Lata Mangeshkar Didn’t Want to Be Reborn as Herself… Then Where Lies True Happiness? Once, in an interview, when the legendary Lata Mangeshkar, the Saraswati of Indian singing, was asked, “Would you like to be born as Lata Mangeshkar again in your next birth?” She replied with quiet honesty: “…Agar waakayee janm mila mujhe to main Lata Mangeshkar banna nahi chahungi. Lata Mangeshkar ki jo takleefen hain, wo usko hi pata hai…” Imagine this for a moment. The “Nightingale of India,” a name synonymous with devotion, discipline, melody, and unmatched glory, admitted that she wouldn’t want to return as herself. And she is not alone. If tomorrow Modi ji were to say, “I don’t want to be reborn as Modi,” or if Tata, Ambani, Shahrukh, Salman expressed the same, wouldn’t it shake our illusions? We, as ordinary people, look at these icons, dream of their lives, and chase the shadows of m...

She Will Face The World Empty Hand, If it’s For Her Child…!

A Mother Can Never Be Wrong By Dr. Sunil S Rana In the grand symphony of life, if there exists one note that resonates with eternal purity, it is that of a mother’s love. No matter how we define roles, relationships, or responsibilities, the place of a mother stands at the pinnacle; above every judgment, beyond every debate. A mother’s role is supreme, and nothing can overshadow it. She is the divine vessel of creation; conceiving life within her for nine long months, silently enduring pain, discomfort, and unimaginable physical changes. Yet, she smiles; not for herself, but for the unborn soul she nurtures in her womb. That silent endurance, that selfless sacrifice, is something no man can ever truly comprehend. The Misconceived Notion of “Co-ownership” Many men proudly claim to be the “co-owners” of their children; a phrase that sounds logical on paper but collapses in spirit. The creation of life may require two bodies, but the continuation of life demands one soul; the mother’s. Fr...

Show Some Respect to Humanity…!

Thumbs Up Is Not Enough: A Humble Request to Friends and Well-Wishers By Dr. Sunil S Rana In today’s hyperconnected world, where a WhatsApp forward travels faster than the blink of an eye, I often wonder: Why have people become so insensitive even to their own friends and relatives? We are quick to forward jokes, memes, and “Good Morning” images, expecting a flood of thumbs up and smiley emojis in return. But alas! When it comes to genuine requests, heartfelt messages, or meaningful content, the same people who flood groups with forwards suddenly turn silent. The Irony of WhatsApp Appreciation: Let me take a simple example. I share my blog daily with over 7,800 contacts; connections I have built painstakingly over years of professional and personal interactions. These blogs are not mindless forwards; they are thoughts from the heart, researched reflections, and genuine attempts to make a difference. Thousands have appreciated my writing. Yet, when it comes to engaging with ...
